Advanced wind power generation simulator is designed based on new topics approved by the Ministry of Science and has a written agenda. This device is used to provide a laboratory for reviewing power systems and energy analysis, as well as training personnel in industries and factories. The capabilities of this device include the following:
• Simulation of wind power generation
• Simulation of wind turbine by induction motor drived by three-phase inverter
• The ability to measure permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) parameters
• Controlling the inverter due to wind speed variations, using a PID controller
